Defibrillator

A big thank you to the Archdeacon Cambridge’s Church of England Primary School pupils and their families who raised over £600, holding a Heart Mufti Day and other heart themed activities, for Holy Trinity to install a defibrillator outside the church, accessible to the local community.

Many of you will have seen that the defibrillator has now been fitted to the outside of the church near the kitchen door and registered with the emergency network.  Be a lifesaver and spread the word to everyone you know. The more that know it is there in an emergency, the better.

The device is designed to be used by anyone without the need for training. The machine will analyse a person’s condition and only give a shock if needed. The emergency operator will also talk you through the process. If you are interested in understanding a little more about the machine you can watch this 10 minute video – https://vimeo.com/557677120/e7524918c5
