Our Commitment
At Holy Trinity Twickenham, we follow the Promoting a Safer Church national policy. We believe that safeguarding is the responsibility of the whole church. We ensure:
- Careful selection and training of all those with any responsibility within the Church.
- Responding without delay to every complaint made that a person may have been harmed.
- Providing pastoral care and support to those who have suffered abuse.
Reporting a Concern
If you are concerned that someone you know is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from the Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor.
Steps to take:
- Listen: If someone discloses abuse, listen without judgment.
- Record: Write down exactly what was said as soon as possible.
- Report: Contact our PSO or the Diocese within 24 hours.
Use our Confidential online ‘Concern Report Form’ to report non-urgent safeguarding concerns to our Parish Safeguarding Officer.
